Cookery - Pancakes and maple syrup
You can't go wrong with the homestyle pancakes drizzled with maple syrup and served with a thick pat of butter. Sounds good right? Yep, that was our cookery project for the day!
We got down to measuring the flour that we needed, got the sugar, salt, baking powder ready and then we mixed all our ingredients. We then added in the egg and milk into the batter and presto, we had the batter!
We all took turns to pour in the batter into the pan, to make our very own pancakes. Yum! The extra-special part was the 'creative and imaginative' shapes of the pancakes, that the children made - we had dinosaurs, hearts, rabbits and many more. Now that was fun! Finally, the wait was over, we tucked into our homemade pancakes and they tasted every bit as good as they looked. Just look at the pictures - the
